We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI standards.
We only provide articles and information. We never ask for credit card numbers.
We do not use Malware Scanning.
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
We implemented a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order.
All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.
4. STORAGE AND PROCESSING
Our goal is to keep your personal data safe. We store data on our personal servers. According to the GDPR, ALPEIN Software acts as a controller as well as a processor. Our responsibilities as the controller are carried out when the end consumers of our websites and applications provide their personal data within the platforms. We act as processor when providing our products and services exclusively under the client administration, but with hosting maintenance on our servers. Consequently, ALPEIN Softwares duties are restricted solely to the information storage without having access to the personal data of the clients.
5. DO WE USE 'COOKIES'?
• Understand and save user's preferences for future visits.
• Compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interactions in order to offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may also use trusted third-party services that track this information on our behalf.
You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Since every browser is a little different, look at your browser's help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies.

ALPEIN Software will not obtain or require disclosure of sensitive personal data (such as ethnic origin, religion or medical records) but if you choose to provide such sensitive personal data, ALPEIN Software may assume such sensitive data is provided with your consent and can be processed by ALPEIN Software as it sees fit, unless otherwise notified by you to ALPEIN Software in writing.
10. USE OF THIS WEBSITE BY CHILDREN
This website is not intended for anyone under the age of 16 years. If you are younger than 16, you may not register with or use this website.
11. FAIR INFORMATION PRACTICES
We also agree to the Individual Redress Principle which requires that individuals have the right to legally pursue enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. 12. DATA RETENTION
The time periods for which we retain your personal data depend on the purposes for which we use it. ALPEIN Software will keep your Personal Information for as long as you are a registered subscriber or user of our products or for as long as we have another business purpose to do so and, thereafter, for no longer than is required or permitted by law, or ALPEIN Software's Retention Policy, reasonably necessary for internal reporting and reconciliation purposes, or to provide you with feedback or information you might request.
PassSecurium account data retention:
If a free account is inactive more than six months, it will be deleted. After six months of inactivity, user receives an email reminder about his/her inactivity. If in the next three months the user is still inactive, his/her account, along with all the data, will be permanently deleted.
Paid accounts are deleted in three months after the termination of subscription.
Non-activated accounts (if the user hasn't confirmed his/her email) are automatically deleted after one week.
All data can be removed immediately on the customer's request (please see contacts in section 13).
