General

PassSecurium™ uses a two-factor authentication for web access which makes it impossible to hack the account using brute force attacks. In addition, all data for each user are encrypted separately. PassSecurium database files are protected by Data protection OS feature on mobile devices. Data protection uses the built-in encryption hardware present on devices to store files in an encrypted format in device’s memory. In addition, PassSecurium encrypts the data in the database using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with 256-bit keys.

With PassSecurium™ you can:

  • Create, view, edit and delete passwords
  • Easily copy login / password from the app
  • Generate passwords of selectable complexity
  • Use the app in offline mode
  • Manage folder (for paid subscriptions)
  • Add and create new accounts

No, no one can access your account and view your data except you. In case of technical difficulties, our administrators only have access to the database, but the data contained in it remain encrypted.

No, this is impossible, since all information on the servers is encrypted. It cannot be decrypted without the user's key.

The data storage is located in Swiss data centre. Switzerland is one of the approved by GDPR countries for data storing and processing: https://ec.europa.eu/adequacy-protection-personal-data-non-eu-countries

You can buy PassSecurium™ by ordering on our website https://www.pass-securium.ch/en/prices/ or upgrade your subscription in the Customer Portal. Two payment methods are now available: bank transfer or PayPal.

At first, Standard version can contain unlimited quantity of passwords while Free version can contain only 30 passwords. Also Standard version allows to user create and manage folders for more convenient passwords storing.

Of course. We offer Premium and Corporate packages for companies, which allow you to control users, groups and their roles and link them to your LDAP/Active Directory.

Business users not only have unlimited storage for passwords and are able to manage folders, business user can have additional admin rights to user management (creating, editing, assigning to user group) and password sharing. Also business users are able to turn on VPN access to their PassSecurium™ services.

PassSecurium™ requires Android 4.0.3 or later and iOS 9.0 or later.

Yes. You don’t need to pay again before your term of payment ends.

Web version of PassSecurium™ and mobile application are currently available in English, German and Russian.

A password generator provides assistance with the creation of passwords. You can select the complexity and length of the password in advance, and then create a suitable, random password.

On the Portal you can:

  • turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) for web access to the app and Portal (2FA is implemented via AccessSecurium™ (or similar) app available for Android and iOS – install AccessSecurium™, turn on 2FA in your Portal and scan QR codes);
  • change your info and passwords;
  • check and change your subscriptions and invoices;
  • create a ticket if you found bug or PassSecurium™ works inappropriately.

You can increase the security of your PassSecurium™ web access with a help of two-factor authentication. In a case of two-factor authentication in order to enter your PassSecurium™ storage you need one more code, which you receive with the AccessSecurium™ app (available for Android and Apple). And don’t forget about mobile app protection: enable Security Code or Fingerprint authentication (for Android) / Face, Touch ID (for iOS). Also enable Auto logout interval for PassSecurium™.

You should log into your Customer Portal https://portal.pass-securium.ch/en/ with your current credentials and change password on <My profile> tab.

  • Go to Menu by tapping menu icon in upper left corner of the app;
  • Tap down arrow right under your account name to see an account list;
  • Scroll it till the end and choose menu item <Manage Accounts>;
  • Choose an account you want to log into;
  • Enter new valid password and press <Change> button. The app will remember new password.

Yes, you can have many PassSecurium™ accounts of different subscriptions in a single app. Just tap + icon in the end of account list in the app or tap <Register free account> and create new one.

Tap on the menu icon in upper left corner of the app to open the main menu. Tap on down arrow icon under your account name and choose another account in dropped down list. In the upper menu row you can choose one of two round icons on the left which are the first two accounts from dropping down account list.

Yes, you can add existing accounts, create new free accounts or delete accounts right in the PassSecurium™ app. More options are available on your Customer portal.

  • Go to Menu by tapping menu icon in upper left corner of the app;
  • Tap down arrow right under your account name to see an account list;
  • Scroll it till the end and choose menu item <Manage Accounts>;
  • Choose an account you want to delete;
  • Tap bucket icon in upper right corner of the app and confirm deletion.

Management

Yes. PassSecurium™ can be used in all situations and on all your devices. You can use the App on smartphones and tablets or use the browser version on laptops or desktops.

You should clear PassSecurium™ data in your phone’s Settings -> Apps -> PassSecurium™  (for Android) or reinstall the app (for iOS).

You should log into your Customer Portal https://portal.pass-securium.ch/en/ and change your passwords as soon as it possible.

Yes, this application was specifically designed so it can also be used without an Internet connection. As soon as the next Internet connection is available, all changes are synchronized again.

Password menu provides following functions:

  • Fast copying of login or password;
  • Password editing and deletion.

Folder menu allows editing, deletion or folder moving (by choosing parent folder).

You can turn on multiple action mode by tapping on tick icon on upper row of the app. You can perform mass deletion of ticked passwords or mass deletion or moving of ticked folders. If you tap on arrow icon in upper left corner of the app you will leave multiaction mode.

Yes, you can restore changed data. You can view the history in web version of the app for each password (blue history icon near editing icon). Password changes history is stored for 30 days.
